Photoshop which fonts are missing

I downloaded a layered PSD file to work with, in the release notes it directed me to a download page for all of the font used, which was Futura Medium Condensed. I chcked and did not have any Futura fonts at all. So I downloaded and installed the font from the source provided by the provider of the PSD. Some text layers contain fonts that are missing. These layers will need to have the missing fonts replaced before they can be used for vector based output.

Didn't I download the right font? I click continue — it substitutes Myriad Pro — and check my font list and sure enough I have a bunch of Helvetica fonts, none exactly named "Helvetica". InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator have Adobe Fonts previously named Typekit fully integrated with the desktop software. When you open a file that uses fonts which aren't available on your computer, the missing fonts window will show which of those fonts are included with your Creative Cloud subscription. Use the checkboxes to choose the fonts you want to activate, and then click the Activate button to add them to your computer.

Note: You need to be connected to the internet and logged in to the Creative Cloud desktop application to activate missing fonts through Creative Cloud.

Once the fonts have been added to your computer, they will be applied automatically to the text in your document. I use RightFont to manage my fonts between two computers though this sometimes happens on the same computer.

I always keep fonts I used activated at all times. Computer A had the exact same Google font activated in the same exact program of RightFont as the other computer, yet it didn't recognize it in the PSD, kept saying it was missing and tried to replace it with Myriad Pro.

When I clicked into the text box with the Myriad Pro, I would change it back to Nunito but it would look really strange - not how its supposed to. Odd weight, spacing, etc I've also experienced a problem with After Effects and Indesign on the exact same computer I had created the original document on.

Opened it after an Adobe update and suddenly they don't recognize the font in the document despite the fact that its activated on the computer and never changed since the update. It shows up in the font list when I look for it, but somehow doesn't find it on its own when you open the document or PSD. Improve this question. I got over the hurdle.. What do you mean by rendering? Like saving out a different file format? There are no issues with the. PSD files. All you need to do is: You need to download those fonts and install them in your computer. Replace the fonts with the fonts available in your computer.
