Apr 22, 43, , 9, Standoff heights vary a tiny bit. And so do the threaded posts or holes they sit in. Sometimes it's just a tapped hole in the backplate, sometimes it is a welded nut or raised hub on a hole.

My Antec Sonata II until today had the standoffs that originally came with it. The standoffs on my case, which is stamped as manufactured in , are approximately 5. The good news is, the "standard size" standoffs I bought at Frys worked perfectly.

Showed up in Windows but was reported as unusable. And it just so happens that the different screw I used was next to the RAM slots. I did a CMOS reset and the problem seems to be gone, it's been a week and all slots are being recognized after multiple reboots.
My question.. I have emailed Antec and they are sending me some spare ones. When I get them should I replace this screw - or just leave everything as is since it's all working? Joined Dec 10, Messages Hey guys. I've finally got all the parts for my new computer I'm building first tiem building a computer. I set the mobo up with ram, cpu, and graphics, and it seemed to post it came on, I was able to go into bios. So I went to start installing into the case. There are other screws that will work for it, I looked, but I dont know what ones to use. I know some if not all that work for the brass standoffs seem to work in the PSU, which I seem to need 4.
It seems odd to me having 9 brass standoffs, but only 4 screws I dont really know what I'm doing, and want to make sure that I dont need some of the other screws before I try using them.
